Description
Summary:This study aimed to enhance the academic performance in Practical Research 2 of SHS students in Canda NHS through Project REIGNS (Research Enhancement through Intensifying Goals for the Needy Students). It identified the problems encountered by the students in making research, attained 100% enhancement of papers, and increased knowledge in all parts of research. This study used a mixed-method, quasi-experimental research design, purposive sampling, and dependent t-test with 88 respondents from Grade 12. Findings of the study revealed that the majority of the respondents mentioned difficulties in understanding certain parts of the research process, particularly in finding related studies and literature, identifying authors, references, and gathering data. There were challenges in obtaining information related to the topic, requiring diligence in reading. Hence, the project had a significant impact on academic performance.
