Description
Summary:Electric Vehicles (EVs) are the future of transportation and have the potential to reduce pollution and emissions drastically. EVs use electric motors to power their wheels and are fueled by electricity. This qualitative case study aims to analyze the choice factors in buying an electric vehicle in the Philippines. The researchers employed surveys and interviews in order to obtain data from key respondents such as car owners, car enthusiasts, and government officials. Through the use of a fit regression analysis, the researchers found out that factors such as price, monthly salary, and parking availability affected the willingness of people to purchase electric vehicles. The survey and interviews also revealed that the majority of respondents are not satisfied with the EV laws in the country, but the government is working to address this in the near future.
