| Summary: | Online part-time jobs have become a popular option for students who are looking for a way to earn money while pursuing their studies. Online part-time jobs offer flexibility, convenience, and the opportunity to work from anywhere with an internet connection since online part-time jobs are common in the municipality of Tagkawayan. The researchers chose informants who could answer the problems being raised. The purpose of this study was to know the online part-time jobs, to identify the challenges met, to realize the benefits, to understand the effects on academic performance, and to be aware of the coping mechanisms of E-Raketeras. The researchers employed qualitative research using a phenomenological approach to investigate and assess the living experiences of an active online seller while studying. An in-depth face-to-face interview with the informants provided rich data. The informants were composed of 10 senior high school students. The findings revealed that senior high school students have a different online part-time job that depends on their passion. Through scheduling and time management, they can cope with the challenges they meet while studying. They do time management to be able to comply with school requirements and do extra jobs. Students earn extra income to support their education, personal needs, and even other expenses at home. Therefore, students benefit from their online part-time job in many aspects, especially work experience, and time management plays a vital role in having additional jobs while studying. |
