This study investigated the influence of bun color on the perceived healthiness of banana heart burgers among grades four to six students at La Salle College Antipolo. Employing a quantitative experimental design, 30 participants were exposed to burgers with either green or conventional-colored buns. Data gathered through a structured survey were analyzed using frequency distributions and an Independent Samples T-Test. Results indicated that while the color green was overwhelmingly associated with healthiness (93.3%), changes in bun color did not significantly influence the perceived healthiness of the burgers (p = 0.784). Consequently, the study supports the null hypothesis, suggesting that visual cues such as bun color have minimal impact on the healthiness perception of food among children, underscoring the complexity of factors that influence dietary choices. 2024-06-11T20:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/conf_shsrescon/2024/paper_ebov/2 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/conf_shsrescon/article/2380/viewcontent/EBO_Parrocha_Toledo_Daloma_Alarcos_Espiritu_Garvida___Joby_Keren_PARROCHA.docx.pdf DLSU Senior High School Research Congress Animo Repository bun color banana heart burgers perceived healthiness visual cues sensory marketing
