In this study, the assessment of trip generation of pedestrians and vehicles in major malls around Dagupan City, Philippines was conducted. Dagupan is ranked as the second most populous city in the Ilocos Region with an income of second class in 2015. Currently, there is no existing model for travel demand forecasting for the growing city, therefore this study aims to determine the trip generation rates of mall, and determine the travel characteristics of pedestrians and vehicles going to and from the malls. Multiple linear regression is utilized to represent the trip generation rates of the malls, and the data used is obtained through counting and questionnaire distribution. The trips are generated by pedestrian and vehicles.
