This study described the level of well-being and the strategies used by unemployed individuals with regards to their different demographics. Also the researchers examined the relationship between the level of psychological well-being and coping strategies. There were 160 unemployed participants who involuntarily lost a company job and are currently applying for the 6 call center agencies. The participants were given screening surveys on the purpose of gathering information about their social demographics and identifying who falls on the inclusion criteria of the study. Screened participants were then asked to complete 2 surveys which measures, the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) for the measure of psychological well being, and the Coping With Job Loss Scale (CWJLS) to determine the type of coping strategy used. The data were analyzed by the use of multiple-regression, correlations and descriptive statistics for both measures. The relationship between Well-being (GHQ) and Coping Strategies (CWJLS) on the different demographics as well as GHQ and CWJLS are further discussed in this study. The researchers conclude that highly stressed people use job devaluation coping, while people with low stress use problem focused coping. 2006-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9393 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Unemployed--Philippines Coping behavior Psychology
