Lyzette Kilala, Evelyn PC Weather Station is a weather-monitoring device that is capable of reading and interpreting weather data parameters. The automated data gathering is made possible by the direct interface of three weather instruments to the computer. This feasibility study is confined to three major parameters, namely, Temperature, Pressure and Wind Velocity. It is also situated in one of the field stations of PAGASA, namely, the Science Garden. Since the project is confined only to one station, weather forecasting is out of context. To make the gathered data useful and relevant, it is designed for Climatological Analysis. A climatological model is designed to statistically determine the normal and extreme values of the different weather parameters for a certain location at a given period of time. The group would like to recommend the system to improve the manual system of PAGASA and to establish a more accurate, efficient and practical system for Climatological purposes. In this way, the system would be beneficial to Weather Forecasting. Based on the group's objectives, methodology, recommendation and major findings, we can proudly attest that the study on PC Weather Station is feasible, reliable and justifiable. 1989-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9433 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Operating systems (Computers) Electronic data processing--Programming Data compression (Computer science) Meteorological stations Weather forecasting |
