Three different organic substrates and their combinations were made to stand and undergo decomposition, under conditions known to be highly conducive for composting. Samples were taken each week and were tested for their Nitrogen content. At the same time, weekly temperature and pH readings, plus moisture content determinations were done to monitor their progress in these aspects.
