Three different organic substrates and their combinations were made to stand and undergo decomposition, under conditions known to be highly conducive for composting. Samples were taken each week and were tested for their Nitrogen content. At the same time, weekly temperature and pH readings, plus moisture content determinations were done to monitor their progress in these aspects. Meanwhile, monthly samplings were done to test for their Phosphorus and Potassium content. At the end of experimentation, the attained N-P-K of each fertilizer produced were as follows: 1.128-0.00409-0.03964 for rice straw-soil, 2.146-0.00184-0.006213 for rice straw-soil-manure, 2.664-0.00260-0.11250 for rice straw-manure-CFA, 0.536-0.00130-0.01090 sawdust and 2.072-0.00183-0.5272 for sawdust-manure. 1993-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9443 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Organic fertilizer Fertilizers and manures
