Summary: | DominiCare Premium Health Partners, Inc. is a health maintenance organization which aims to assure quality health care benefits at highly affordable premium rates. Its concern is to assist the working population in maintaining good health for peak performance.
DominiCare stated its need for communications materials which will establish its image, boost information and strengthen its relation with its market as it develops and grows. Hence, the proponents created a graphic and print production package to answer this need.
First, the proponents designed the corporate logo. Since DominiCare wanted a contemporary look, the proponents deviated from designs commonly used by HMOs (e.g. medical symbols). Using the Ariston font, the letters D and C (for Domini Care) were manipulated to form a flower-like image. A stylized presentation of this image was applied to the materials to enhance aesthetics and to further set it apart from usual logo presentations. The company agreed to use green, specifically Pantone 3405 C as its official color. The resulting logo design and color together create an image that signifies life, health and growth.
Second, the proponents produced a marketing kit composed of an information manual, brochure, application form, letterhead, and the company representative's calling card. All these materials are grouped together in a portfolio designed by the proponents as well.
The information manual serves as a quick guide and reference material for DominiCare' clients. It contains extensive information on what the company provides such as the benefits, available services, procedures and rates for the selection of enrollment programmes. The manual's size is 6 X 7 inches and has 27 pages. The brochure, on the other hand, serves as the company's concise introductory material. It contains vital information such as DominiCare's mission statement, its background, goals and objectives, and the names of the company's key officers. It also summarizes the benefits and different enrollment plans, and includes a location map. The brochure's size is 8.5 X 11 inches and is divided into three panels, back to back. The application form gathers information regarding the client and his health condition. Its size is 11 X 17 inches and has 4 pages. The letterhead has two purposes: first, it will be personally addressed to introduce DominiCare and to formally invite prospective clients to avail of the membership. Second, it will be for general company correspondence. The letterhead's size is 8.5 X 11 inches. The calling card will be used by DominiCare's representatives for direct contact with their clients. The card's size is 2 X 3.5 inches. Finally, the portfolio is designed to hold all mentioned materials together, constituting the marketing kit. It will be distributed among DominiCare's clients, mostly to corporate heads who will then be in charge of disseminating information regarding DominiCare's health insurance package to their employees. Interested individuals may also avail of the marketing kit. The materials in the kit can also be handed out separately or in any combinations as required. DominiCare's key officers were impressed with the outcome of the thesis project. They plan on having us design their forthcoming materials. All expenses incurred in this project have been shouldered by DominiCare. |
