Summary:This descriptive research aims to knows the different perceptions and manifestations (behavioral and verbal) of Filipino young adults regarding passion, intimacy, and commitment. The data gathered is analyzed qualitatively by identifying how Filipino young adults perceive passion, intimacy, and commitment their similarities and differences in these perceptions: their behavioral and verbal manifestations: and their ideal kind of relationship. The participants of the study are heterosexual males and females who are 20 to 30 years old and are currently in a significant love relationship. Purposive sampling is the technique used to get the participation of the 20 young adults in the in-depth interview. Based from the results gathered, passion is perceived as something sexual: intimacy as having to do with communicating to loved one to build closeness and friendship: and commitment as a responsibility and giving priority to the person he/she loves.
