Serrano, Ada Mae E. The thesis group proposes an Executive Information System (EIS), a computer-based system that serves the information needs of top executives. It provides rapid access to timely information and direct access to management reports. EIS is very user-friendly, supported by graphics and provides drill-down capabilities. Philippine Phoenix Surety and Insurance Incorporated (PPSI) is a business organization which provides service to its clientele through issuance of insurance premiums and policies and helping them when unavoidable circumstances come. The information needs are gathered when the senior executives and middle management meet once a year for its financial planning specifically in budgeting. They use statistical records (variance reports on expenses and insurance premiums) which help them in their planning for the incoming year's budget. The group, in turn, plans to establish this system which maintains a database file for these reports and also converts these reports into computer-aided models (e.g. bar graph, line graph, pie chart) to provide them with the necessary information needed in their financial planning. The scope of the thesis study will be financial planning in budgeting with performance feedback. It will cater to the senior executives particularly the Vice-Presidents of the company and the middle management. 1996-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9609 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository PHOENICS (Computer program) Information system Executives
