The thesis project entitled Tire Pressure Monitoring with Self-Inflating Device is a study made due to the influence that a tire pressure has on vehicle performance, safety, and efficiency. It is basically an integration of two systems, one is a system that provides real-time tire pressure monitoring and alerts the driver of improperly inflated tires. This system employs a pressure sensor gauge which physically measures the tire pressure, and reports the information to the vehicle LCD monitor with light and sound for warning alert. The second system is the self inflating tire device that would keep track of the tire inflation and adds air as necessary via an external pump used as an air source, a pressure control valve, and a pneumatic hose used as a way to get the air from air source to the tires. This study was successfully created since the objective of monitoring accurate real time pressure, and maintaining proper air pressure of the tire through self inflation was achieved.
