The benefits of parallel computation particularly the speed factor has brought about the increasing interest in parallel algorithms and programs. However, due to the high system cost of parallel computers, especially those with a large number of processors, only few researchers are able to pursue this field of study. A parallel algorithm simulator can be used for learning parallel algorithms. A simulator capable of producing the result of the program and obtaining the execution time will help the user in analyzing the performance of the program. The user may be given the option to select defined interconnection networks or specify their desired type of interconnection. In doing so, it provides experimenters of parallel algorithms an environment where they can study the behavior of their algorithms. This will contribute to the search for more efficient algorithms. 1992-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9785 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Programming (Electronic computers) Algorithms Computer simulation Parallel programming (Computer science)
