Proposed improvement of the water supply system for the municipality of Polanco Zamboanga del Norte

This study discusses in detail the different components of a level 3 water supply system for the municipality of Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte. The water demand requirement, the possible water source to tap, the socio economic profile, the network design and the cost revenue study are the major topics of this thesis. Sufficient data were gathered from Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Association (PAGASA), The Bureau of Mines, The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and other provincial and local government units in the area. From these gathered data, the group came up with conclusions and recommendations regarding the possible improvement of the water supply system of Polanco from a level 1 to a level 3 system.
