The Digital Kilowatt-hour meter is designed and constructed to eliminate the difficulty in reading and getting the actual energy consumption. The designers used a transducer optocoupler to convert the mechanical movement of the disc of the analog kilowatt-hour meter into an electronic information for the microcontroller to process and in turn provides the digital display of the energy consumed in kilowatt-hour and the equivalent amount in pesos of this consumption. |
