Chua, Berenice Myvanwy Lao, Joan Jaclyn The crisis on biodiversity has grave implications for life on earth. However, very few are aware of this. My Zoo Volunteer Group Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization which envisions a harmonious existence between people and the natural environment. It aims to help save biodiversity, the number and variety of organisms found within a specified geographic region, by educating the people. As part of its efforts to preserve biodiversity, the foundation has put into operation an information campaign against illegal wildlife trade. The campaign primarily targets to convince consumers to help stop illegal wildlife trade by not buying endangered animals or products made from them, by not eating or keeping them as pets, and by reporting incidents of illegal wildlife trade. Our advocacy video has been designed for this purpose. The video consists of three parts. The first part shows the richness of Philippine wildlife the second part shows how these creatures are rapidly dwindling because of illegal wildlife trade and the third part shows the ways in which people can help support the campaign. The video is in digital video (dvd) format. Its running time is 10 minutes, with English texts and voice-overs and Filipino music. The video will be shown by the organization during their school visits and is intended primarily for high school and college students. 2005-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10047 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Wildlife conservation--Philippines Zoology--Philippines Biological diversity--Philippines Video recordings--Production and direction -- Philippines My Zoo Foundation, Inc. |
