Description
Summary:Messaging plays an important factor in our society. However, to go through the distance, one must pay a price for him or her to send a message to someone. The current communication systems in place are now almost everywhere deployed. However, sending a message would cost money because it is the business of Telecommunications companies. To break free of the economic constraints, sending messages must be sent in a different way. One way to go is to go decentralized, where no central node could bill its users for using its services. By making everyone involved in the formation of messaging channels, a message can hop using multiple nodes to reach its destination. Through ZigBee over 802.15.4 networks, large networks with each node connected in a virtual mesh, message sending could be made decentralized. This project aims to create a messaging system and protocol that would utilize the features of ZigBee and to connect its users in a decentralized fashion.
