The infection rates of A. lumbricoides, T. trichiura and hookworm were 34 percent, 4 percent, and 1 percent respectively. Twenty-four respondents with mixed infections of ascaris and trichuris accounted for 12 percent infection rate. Among the different age groups, children had the highest ascaris infection rate of 23 percent and trichuris infection rate of 3 percent.
