Description
Summary:A descriptive research design was used to find out the attributional styles of the gamblers in terms of locus of control, stability, and globality in relation to their demographic profile. One hundred fifty (150) gamblers chosen by purposive non-probability sampling within the City of Manila served as respondents. Findings revealed that males manifested internal-stable-specific attributional styles while females used internal-unstable-specific attributional styles. Most adolescents manifested internal-stable-specific, adults showed external-stable-specific attributional styles, and old people used internal-stable-global attributional styles, middle class manifested internal-unstable-specific attributional styles, and lower class people showed external-stable-specific attributional styles.
