Description
Summary:A web-based learning module in structural analysis is developed to supplement the teaching of Structural Analysis course in a civil engineering education, to serve as a tool in reviewing for an examination and maybe the licensure examination and to initiate the incorporation of on-line learning modules to the civil engineering curriculum. The availability of the internet technology is used because of its popularity in the field of engineering education. In particular, the World Wide Web is utilized as the medium in executing the developed learning module. The structural analysis is chosen as the subject of the learning module because it is one of the basic courses a civil engineering student must understand thoroughly before taking up the design courses. Moreover, in the professional viewpoint, the structural analysis is the stage before the design of any civil engineering structure.
