Llaneza, Michael Paul Maghirang, Joelle Taal, Gerald Anthony Intercom setup through AC Power Lines is designed so as to be able to achieve voice communication using the power lines as the medium. The system would be using an analog setup to send the information. This project does not require the use of wires or cables for transmission, but instead an existing AC power line, which is common anywhere electricity is utilized as its transmission medium and source of power. The circuit at each end of the powerline is a two-way full-duplex communication device used to transmit and receive messages. It uses the common 220V AC power line as its medium of transmission and source of power. It would allow the user both to transmit and receive messages simultaneously. With this project, intercom usage would be greatly enhanced in terms of accessibility, portability and comfort. All the user would need is to find an AC outlet, which would be ideal for intercom usage. It would be useful for homes, commercial establishments, and offices. As long as you share the same AC power line, even in remote areas, this product can be utilized. This project would greatly reduce the cost of the current existing intercoms for this would require fewer materials. It would also be more portable and convenient to install and utilize. 2000-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10253 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Intercommunication systems Electric power distribution--Alternating current - Electrical and Computer Engineering Other Engineering Science and Materials |
