Description
Summary:The consumption of energy in our planet is so great that it won't be long before we exhaust all the natural resources we have. Man's insatiable appetite for energy has practically stripped earth of all the energy it has to offer. Since we can't halt the ever-increasing demand for energy, we must find new ways to harness energy available to us. This study proposes a 300 watt electrical power system. This will help solve the energy problems since it will include two alternative sources, namely wind and solar energy. Basically, the study aims to incorporate solar power and the power generated from a windmill to act as back-up in case of power interruption. By incorporating solar power and wind power to an existing power source, one would definitely accomplish an increase in the dependability of our power system. The goal is to develop and construct a reliable power system that is capable of meeting consumers' needs of up to 300 watts.
