總結:The objective of this research study is to evaluate and study the possibility of using crushed marble waste, generated from marble quarries, as a substitute on the coarse aggregate of an normal-strength concrete. In order to achieve this objective, the researches had formulated a concrete mixture comprised of 25, 50 and 75 percent substitution and compared it to a normal-strength concrete. They aimed to predict and arrive the factors that would be critical to the compressive strength of the new concrete mixtures. Thus, they would be able to tell the most probable percentage of substitution of crushed marble that would be able to produce the best compressive strength concrete mixture. The experiment was limited to a single source of marble, Teresa Marbles a constant water cement ratio and a constant size of coarse aggregate, which was limited to 1 inch in diameter. It was performed using same sized cylindrical concrete molds and were mixed at a constant procedure. From the results of the experiment, the researches had come into the conclusion that the 50 percent marble substitution would result the strongest compressive strength among the other mixtures. It has also been proven that the substitution of marble in any percentage would be able to produce an equal if not better concrete strength.
