The paper dealt with Social Death among Filipino visual artists. The study focused on five categories: the personal experiences that led to social death, the self-perceptions and the perceptions about the situation, the causes of social death among Filipino visual artists, the coping strategies and the stages of social death. The study chose seven respondents who had experienced social death based on the information gathered from experts from the entertainment society. The violations were incarceration, substance abuse, serious attitude problems, early marriage, and the natural occurrence of growing older, which led to outgrowing the roles that they became popular for. The design used is case analysis for which in-depth interviews with socially dead Filipino visual artists were conducted. A semi-structured interview guide was used and the responses were analyzed qualitatively through comparison of their similarities and differences. Data gathered and presented in the study were explained in the aforementioned five categories. It was evident in the results that the SDFVA's went through nearly the same experiences, coping strategies, perceptions, and causes which paved the way to formulate the stages of social death for Filipino visual artists.
