Cuaso, Darlene Thriza L. Henson, Ma. Victoria S. Liao, Anna Marie S. Lizardo, Jamie Jill S. Racoma, Marianne Rochelle B. See, Ryan Oliver Y. Tan, Cez Michelle F. The Philippine handicrafts industry is a result of the ingrained artistic tradition of Filipinos. A number of products fall under this craft, one of which is the picture frame. Through the years, the conventional design and materials have remained unchanged in the manufacturing of this product. This time the group dared to be different by introducing a new concept ---using fabric as an outer covering and providing several picture holes in one frame. This feasibility paper of Frameworks Corporation focused on the study regarding the marketability, technical, financial, legal and social aspects in the production of picture frames. On the marketing aspect, this study was able to conclude that there is indeed a market for the proposed item from the primary data gathered. A survey in the form of public opinion polling enabled the group to determine the actual preferences, buying habits, the potential demand and the acceptable price range. In addition, this segment of the study was able to determine the salability of the product, adopt the best marketing strategies to be adopted in order to increase sales and the most convenient ways the consumers are willing to get a hold of the product. As for the technical part, the proponents were able to realize the best production process to be used in the manufacture of picture frames. Through this, the corporation may be able to maximize the use of its resources, time and effort, and at the same time, ensuring quality produced goods to offer the market. In addition, this part of the study described the capacity of the members in producing the product, the process in production used, and the location and layout ot the plant where the product will be produced. The segment of the study which talked about the legal requirements are to be fulfilled by the corporation. In addition to this, the organizational structure, the rules, policies, and by-laws, and the strategies to be used in the corporate management were established here. On the financial side, projections on sales, capital requirements, the project cost, the proposed operating budgets, the financial analysis, and the sources of financing of the firm were thoroughly discussed in this chapter. Lastly, this feasibility paper was able to prove that the corporation has certainly considered the importance of the social responsibilities which has impact to the society. 1995-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10341 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Picture frames and framing Business and Corporate Communications
