It also aims to identify the benefits they gain, their encountered difficulties and the strategies that they implement. There are thirty respondents who graduated from three selected Catholic universities within Metro Manila. There are five males and five females who came from each university which gives a total of fifteen males and fifteen females. These respondents have been their own business for at least 6 months. Findings of the study revealed that their decision to put up their own business were influenced by the following factors: (1) their family, (2) education and (3) the recent trend of the young entrepreneurs. Most of them are motivated by personal reasons and the desire to earn more money. In conclusion, recent graduates are now more risk-takers and bold.
