The proponents of this organizational communication thesis made a volunteer recruitment plan for EcoRescue Volunteers Foundation Philippines to address their need if a formal and effective way of recruiting volunteers specifically for their mangrove planting activity, whereas currently, their only means of recruiting the organizations volunteers are by word of mouth and through their website.
Volunteers are the backbone of any non-profit organization, because of this, the groups proposed a volunteer recruitment plan wherein our client organization, EcoRescue, will be able to penetrate into colleges and universities to recruit more volunteers for their environmental programs specifically for their Mangrove Planting Project as the target audience are young adults. The plan was specifically designed for group recruitment rather than individual since it was discovered that the activity and recruitment would best be done collectively.
The recruitment would be through a public speaking presentation that will be complemented with brochures and visual presentations. Furthermore, a step by step recruitment manual was also produced for use in the implementation of the said plan. It contains detailed instructions on how to go about the recruitment process.
The plan would also be an offshore for their plan of establishing EcoRescue in the four universities which are Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle University and University of Asia and the Pacific. |
