The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between work-life balance (WLB) and its effect on Job Satisfaction of public accounts in public practice in the Philippines. A sample of 163 junior and senior associates of auditing firms in Makati, Philippines was considered for this study. Three other purposes were also covered in this study, namely: (a) to identify determinants of WLB as well as key conceptual and empirical issues involved (b) to analyze possible significant effects in balancing of work and life o Job Satisfaction, and (c) to study differences in the perception of Job Satisfaction and WLB according to various demographic variables. The respondents completed a survey comprising of the WLB and Job Descriptive Index scales modified to meet the data needed for this study. Both the Conservation of Resources and Herzberga's Motivation-Hygiene Theory were used as frameworks to examine the relationship of WLB and Job Satisfaction in sample of 163 respondents. Results of this study showed that a significant positive relationship exists between WLB and Job Satisfaction of public accounts in public practice in the Philippines.
