A phenomenological approach was used to find out the experience of an individual after the breakup and the meanings that they give to these experiences. The researchers interviewed nine women aged 18-25 who recently experienced a breakup from a romantic relationship. The following essences emerged: Degree of Acceptance of the breakup, Adaptation to Autonomy, and Realization of Personal Needs. |
