Summary:The San Juan Fire Station is a governmental organization responsible for the fire protection, prevention and safety of the city of San Juan as well as being the primary educators of disseminating crucial information about the basics of fire safety to the public by conducting yearly orientations. The purpose of this study is to help improve the San Juan Fire Stations current communication process of disseminating information about fire safety to their respective target audiences. An Informational Guide Kit was deemed to be the most appropriate solution to solve the organizational communication problem to the internal and external target audiences, which heavily based on research and practice. The Informational Guide Kit contains an Orientation Manual, which is used as a reference for Public Information Officers in effectively conducting fire safety orientations. It aims to provide sustainability, adequacy and consistency of information dissemination for current and future Public Information Officers. Furthermore, the kit also includes an improved version of their Powerpoint presentation along with a newly crafted Poster that comprehensive vital information about fire safety. Lastly, an Organizational Feedback Form, geared towards measuring and constantly improving the process of information dissemination of the San Juan Fire Station.
