Description
Summary:The short feature, Silent Grace, focuses on Grace del Rosario, an 18-year old ballerina, who gets into a car accident that leaves her profoundly deaf in both her ears due to nerve damage in her auditory system. After the accident, Grace decides to quit ballet. Qualitative research findings support the plot that Grace eventually realizes, thanks to people who were in similar positions and their support that she should not give up on her passion for dance. Through a style that can be considered a cross between digital and mainstream filmmaking, the film ultimately shows the character's maturation and her journey in overcoming adversity.
