Summary:The study revolved around the state of maturation and of how an adolescent deal with critical struggles one may experience during teenage years, particularly, ones relationship with family, friends, and love interest. Some teenagers make hasty decisions without considering consequences. The protagonist Angela, mistake romantic love for familial love. She gets distracted by this wrong notion of love which leads to a shift in her priorities and missed opportunities. Angela finally realizes that one does not need a man in order to be happy because of family and friends who will always be there to give love and support.
