Summary: | The study sought to determine whether the proposed Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Legal Management double-degree program is feasible. It considers internal and external features of the feasibility, particularly the technical, management, market, financial, and socio-economic aspects.
The technical study contains the program description of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Legal Management. It also includes relevant information such as the objectives and advantages of the program, as well as grading policies and shifting procedures.
The management study focuses on the personnel and facilities of the University. It also features applicable CHED Memorandum Orders that provide standards, policies, and guidelines for academic programs and school curricula.
The subjects of the market study include 406 respondents coming from De La Salle University-Manila and its feeder schools. The results show that a significant portion of the respondents are in favor of the double-degree program.
The financial study aims to forecast the cash flows and income to be derived from the implementation of the program. From the assumptions and the data gathered, the study shows that the double-degree program can provide financial stability.
Lastly, the socio-economic study considers the opinions and insights of knowledgeable personnel inside the University as well as potential employers of the graduates to determine the impact of the proposed double-degree program. |
