Description
Summary:The unified messaging mobile application brings together conversations of a contact from e-mail, short messaging service, and instant messaging into a sin- gle interface. It comes with a messaging system that allows for simultaneously sending and receiving messages from di erent services. Messages from a contact appear as a single conversation regardless of the medium used. It also helps resolve discrepancies with contact entries by providing an interface within the conversa- tion to initiate xing such. Extensive testing had certi ed that the application developed supports almost every phone in the target platform. It received luke- warm acceptance from the public test and thus can be further explored on for future development, especially since the application opens more opportunities for developing mass-market uni ed communications solutions.
