Other parenting style such as permissive, authoritative, and authoritarian parenting will be tackled in the study as well. A descriptive research design will be employed to gain a comprehensive insight into relative experience of the parents and child. Purposive sampling will be used to gather a total of 30 sets of participants, with 2 parents and one child in each set. The age range of qualified children for this study has been set to 14-21 years old. Within these 30 sets, 10 will be under the liberal-minded parents category while the other 20 will be divided in half and categorized under authoritative parents and strict parents, respectively. Face-to-face interviews will be the prospective medium for data collection and will thus allow the group to have a deeper understanding of the experience and insights of the participants. Along with the interview, the researchers will make use of a parenting style questionnaire and a self-constructed scale of show card to further validate the data initially provided in the interview. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10601 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Parental overprotection Psychology
