Summary:This paper establishes an approach for using social, economic and environmental vulnerabilities criteria in assessing the surrounding conditions, which influence flood damage at various spatial scales. The objective is to develop a new flood vulnerability strategy for the city of Marikina in using multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). The methodology developed a critical solution to confront the critical of problem of flood, thus, allowing a more in-depth analysis and interpretation of flood vulnerability management strategy in the City of Marikina. The group analyzed the end result of the computations done. In doing so, the group found out the most effective and optimal solution to the problem of flood. This will help in meeting the objective of developing a new flood vulnerability starter.
