Description
Summary:This paper presented that despite the negative or ethnocentric perspectives of the Japanese people towards the West and the Western people in history and during contemporary times, the physical attributes, which can be pertaining to the positive features, of the Westerners are still prevailing in anime. The researchers conducted a descriptive study with the use of both qualitative and quantitative methods to create an analysis of selected anime titles. The researchers therefore recommend that future studies be made to explain the implications of the prevalence of physical stereotypes in anime.
