Considering the mixed traffic flow in Metro Manila, the speed interaction of pedicabs and kuligligs with cars was determined to be able to obtain their effects to the capacity of the roads in the study area. Data collection methods used to gather the data of the study involved a video surveillance of the chosen road segments where pedicabs and kuligligs are abundant in the traffic stream. A road trap segment was used to capture their movements for the computation of the speed and vehicle interactions. Survey questionnaires were used for pedicab and kuliglig users and drivers to understand their travelling and operating characteristics.
