This study of the researchers interviewed 14 adolescents with ages ranging from 12 to 21, using a semi-structured questionnaire. The results indicated that verbal bullying is the most prevalent kind of bullying that obese adolescents experience. The results also revealed that bullying most often occurs in school. Obese adolescents more often than not cope from the experiences of being bullied by looking for social support from their friends and family. The findings also suggest that the choice of coping strategy, depending on the individual may negatively or positively effect his life of her life in the future. 2010-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10800 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Obesity in adolescence Nutrition disorders in adolescence Psychology
