This study examined the present level of Work-Life Balance and its contributory factors of the Generation X and the Generation Y employees in selected hotels in Metro Manila, Utilizing quantitative research methods, this study surveyed 60 Filipino employees from the back offices of various hotels to investigate the relationship between generational cohorts and their perception towards work-life balance. The instrument used for the study is Work-Life Balance Scale developed by Fisher-McAuley, Stanton, Jolton, and Gavin (2003), validated by Hayman (2005). Results showed that the Yers have a higher level of Work-Life Balance than that of the Xers.
