This study examined the present level of Work-Life Balance and its contributory factors of the Generation X and the Generation Y employees in selected hotels in Metro Manila, Utilizing quantitative research methods, this study surveyed 60 Filipino employees from the back offices of various hotels to investigate the relationship between generational cohorts and their perception towards work-life balance. The instrument used for the study is Work-Life Balance Scale developed by Fisher-McAuley, Stanton, Jolton, and Gavin (2003), validated by Hayman (2005). Results showed that the Yers have a higher level of Work-Life Balance than that of the Xers. This shows that certain factors play important roles that influence one's level of Work-Life Balance, such as developmental experiences, workplace flexibility, and socialization. 2012-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10803 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
