Summary:This study examines the contributors of life satisfaction of old Filipinos as gleaned from reminiscence belonging to upper and lower socioeconomic groups. Life satisfaction refers to a state wherein one has achieved all his/her wants and needs in life. Reminiscence was used as a tool to gather the experiences of the 6 old Filipinos (65 and up) belonging to both the upper and lower class. Narrative and thematic analysis were used for the data gathering and data analysis. The major factors that contribute to the life satisfaction of both classes were their relationship and bonding moments with the family. Factors such as ability to help, meaningful activities made a significance difference on the life satisfaction of the old depending on the socioeconomic group.
