Comparing US-based and undergraduate nurses' definition of a better life

This study focused on the similarities and differences of the concepts of a better life for undergraduate nursing students and Filipino nurses who are based in the United States. There were recurring themes observed in the results of this study that affects how respondents defined better life- family factors, financial factor and career development factors. Interviews and a survey of nursing students and established nurses were done, and results showed that each factor played a role in their decisions. However, being financially stable was the common definition of a better life. In addition to that, a majority of the undergraduate nurses said that being financially stable by working in the United States could give them a better life while the respondents from the United States said that working there as a nurse truly gave them a better life.
