Summary: | This study identified and described the life after death experience from three selected individuals. Aside from this, concept of a life after death and adjustments towards the experience were also described. The study was descriptive in nature and phenomenological approach was used to capture the essence of the experience. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The purposive sampling and chain referral were applied in getting the respondents of this study. Semi-structured interview guide was utilized in gathering information from the participants. The concept of life after death experienced was described based from these three major themes: rebirth, love of God and unfinished business. The aspects that underwent adjustments were the self, family and significant others. The events that were commonly experienced by the participants of this study were: the vision of light, dark and quiet place, and the feeling of confusion. |
