This paper deals with rational numbers where decimal expansions satisfy the Nines Property (NP) wherein the sum of the first and second half of the recurring digits give a string of nines.
The main result of the paper is the Theorem that gives a test for determining whether a rational number satisfies the poverty NP. Some consequences of this theorem are also discussed. A computer software is developed by the researchers that gives the decimal expansions length and determines whether a rational number satisfies the poverty NP. |
