In this regard a population size of nine (9) people were interviewed. The population is composed of jeepney drivers aged twenty five (25) to Sixty Five (65) years old, and has been driving a jeepney as their profession for three (3) to forty five (45) years. The researchers found that PUJ drivers have their own brand of driving that sets them apart from other types of PUV drivers and private drivers. This kind of driving revolves around the idea that they view themselves as the jeepneys and in turn drive as if they were the jeepneys. After further analysis, this perception, also known as self-extension, is moderated by their sense of coherence which has three components namely: comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness. The implications of how jeepney drives drive based on this perception has implications that affect the driving condition in Metro Manila and the value of PUJ drivers toward themselves. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10860 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
