Summary:Touch the Artist's Vision (TAV) is a non-government advocacy group based in Metro Manila that promotes the rights and welfare of blind people. TAV's current program is about encouraging museums to make their facilities and exhibits more disability-friendly so that blind people can appreciate artwork through the sense of touch. They accomplish this by inviting representatives from museums around the country to attend the seminar where everyone can discuss the program. Our interviews with TAV's president and museum representatives revealed that the seminar is not effective in convincing museums to adopt the program. This is because majority of the information conveyed in the seminar are not relevant in implementing the program. In addition, museum representatives felt that the seminar was ignoring their needs, such as expenses in implementing the program. This lack of information creates uncertainty among museums representatives whether or not adopting the program benefits them. To address this problem, the thesis group decided to make a seminar guide and an accessibility and inclusivity kit. The seminar guide includes a revised program flow and a Powerpoint presentation. This suggests TAV to give more emphasis on topics relevant to the program in their seminar. Meanwhile, the accessibility and inclusivity kit is intended to be given to museum representatives after attending the seminar so they can have a reference while adopting the program. The kit includes a brochure, a flyer, a technical manual, and an instructional video. An integrated model of organizational change and persuasion was used to guide us in making thesis project.
