Maria, Bulacan and at Sunken Garden Lagoon, University of the Philippines, Diliman. Snails were examined for the presence of trematode larvae and Chaetogaster limnaei infestation. Results show that length of snail > 1.0cm exhibited a positive relationship with trematode infection and C. limnaei infestation. Prevalence of trematode infection in L. quadrasi collected from Sta. Maria River and Sunken Garden Lagoon were 50.48% and 68.60%, respectively. Trematode larvae such as typical distome, microcercous, metacercariae and a precocious adult-looking like trematode were observed. Chaetogaster limnaei was noted in 17 *8.10%) of the L. quadrasi collected from Sta. Maria River. Snails from Sunken Garden Lagoon were free of C. limnaei infestation, instead insect larvae belonging to Genus Chironomus were recovered. 1999-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10943 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
