Description
Summary:Water is the most important in an irrigation system because water is the one greatly needed by the plants such as rice and the Philippine is an agricultural country where rice is one of the main crops planted. This study looked for ways on increasing the conveyance efficiency and farm efficiency of Angat-Maasim Rivers Irrigation System which serves 26,235 hectares of farmlands in Bulacan and Pampanga. This study formulated a system dynamics model on STELLA5 which is a software used to simulate and analyze system dynamics models. This study recommends improving NIA's intervention and farmers effort through increase in meetings and inspection on the irrigation facilities. Moreover, the group recommends rehabilitating earth canals to hardpan from the existing loose clay loam because it is the most economical.
