Summary: | While numerous movies have portrayed adolescent rebellion in the past, the proponents' film looks into the current youth generation's expression of rebellion, and the disturbing trend by which today's rich-kid adolescent appears to deal with the stresses of growing up. The film centers on the life of a misguided, college-age girl, which tailspins after she falls in with a violent group of hard partiers. Set against the noctunal backdrop of loud, pulsing music and alcohol-drenched parties of rich Manila juveniles, the film explores how a well-meaning person can be confronted by a turn of events with potentially overwhelming consequences. However, a person still has the choice whether to manage one's problems or to allow the turn of events that these problems bring on to overwhelm one's life. |
