Sia, Joben Joyce I. Sy, Hazel Valerie N. Yau, Michelle Kylie Y. With the increasing importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), this paper's main objective was to determine the individual and consolidated effect of the five dimensions of CSR on the changes in stock prices of publicly-listed mining companies in the Philippines. It was based on the Kinder, Lydenberg, Domini Research and Analytics (KLD) which shows the five dimensions of CSR used in the study. The group determined the CSR activities of mining companies through a mixture of primary and secondary data. CSR scores were gathered by applying the average weights provided by three CSR experts. The researchers obtained the stock prices and computed the average change in stock price. Several statistical tools were performed to determine the relationship and significance of the variables. The researchers determined that there is a positive relationship between the community and diversity dimensions and changes in stock prices, and a negative relationship between the employee relations, environment and product dimensions and changes in stock prices. However, these relationships show no statistical significance. The researchers therefore conclude that there is no significant relationship between the individual and consolidated effects of CSR on the changes in stock price. 2012-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10996 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
